Crown Heritage Tapered Baluster - 5016 Series
The Crown Heritage 5016 baluster gives your stairs an elegant look with its round, tapered
sides and square bottom. Made from fir, this tapered wooden staircase baluster is strong
enough to provide long lasting support. The 5016 series wood baluster is available in 6
lengths: 31, 34, 36, 39, 42 and 45 inches. The tapered section accounts for about ¾ of the
total length of this piece. A pin on the bottom of the spindle makes it easy to install.
When you order a 5016 wood baluster replacement, you will receive it primed and ready for a
coat of paint. This baluster is not water resistant, and is intended for indoor use only.

5010 Tapered Wood Baluster
The Crown Heritage 5010 baluster has a simple shape that looks elegant without being too
modern. It has a 1 ½ inch base that tapers gently to a standard point. While the manufacturer
says the tapered Crown Heritage stair baluster is colonial style, it fits into almost any stair
design.
The 5010 tapered wood baluster is available in 36, 39 and 42 inch lengths. Note that this is
the total length of this tapered wooden baluster for staircases, including the pin. Once
installed, the post will be ½ inch shorter. We offer the 5010 in beech and red oak. You can
also get a primed version ready to be painted to match the rest of your staircase.
