Your use of the StairPartPros.com Web site following any such change constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the terms and conditions as changed. For this reason, we encourage you to review these terms and conditions whenever you use this Web site.

Warranty and Guarantee

StairPartPros.com conditionally guarantees its products to be free from defective material or workmanship for one (1) year. The company will not be responsible for improper use of its products and offers no warranty for safety or performance. All wood and iron stair parts are intended for interior use ONLY. Installation of parts should be made by qualified persons according to construction industry standards using local or appropriate building codes. These codes should be strictly observed. Only the use of the safest installation practices should be used when installing these stair parts.

Returns and Cancellations

Standard stock items may be returned only with prior approval and issuance of a return material authorization (RMA) number by a StairPartPros.com representative and will be charged twenty-five percent (25%) of the sale price to cover re-stocking and handling. All merchandise must be in its original condition and in boxes where applicable. The original order number, invoice number and return material authorization (RMA) number must be indicated on all items to be returned. The return of any product will not be allowed after ninety (90) days of purchase. All shipping and/or freight charges are the responsibility of the customer and SairPartPros.com will not pay for or accept any returns requiring COD charges from any carrier. Custom or non-standard items cannot be returned for credit or cancelled once the order is in process. Half (1/2) newels cannot be returned for credit. Items that have been installed, painted, stained, or altered in any manner are not returnable.

Product Care

Due to the nature of wood products, extreme care should be exercised in the storage and use of stair parts, treads, and risers. Exposure to extreme moisture, humidity, and temperature change can cause checking, warpage, and delamination. Stair parts should be stored in an area free of dust and dirt. All parts should be kept away from moisture and should not be stored directly on concrete floors. Varying conditions can cause shrinking and swelling which causes stress on glue joints and possibly, the surface of the wood. Stair parts should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Extreme heat can cause splitting and cracking. A temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit and thirty-five percent (35%) humidity are the recommended conditions for storage. Stair parts should be installed and finished within eight (8) hours of product delivery to the job site.


All stock items will usually ship within 5 business days from the time of order. Non-stock and special order items usually ship within 3 - 4 weeks from the time of order.

Shipping Damages

Inspect all packages before signing the receipt of shipment. If boxes are at all damaged, please notify the driver and be sure he/she makes a note of it. Take digital pictures within 48 hours of the receipt of shipment.

All claims of apparent or concealed damage to any product must be reported to the freight carrier for settlement of claim.

Web site Submissions

Any comments, testimonials, or pictures or other communications sent to StairPartPros.com shall be and remain the exclusive property of StairPartPros.com. StairPartPros.com will be entitled to use, reproduce, disclose, publish and distribute any material you submit for any purpose whatsoever, without restriction and without compensating you in any way. For this reason, we ask that you do not send us any testimonials or pictures that you do not wish to assign to us, including any confidential information or any original creative materials such as stories, product ideas or original artwork.
